About Us
Our Story
The APT Foundation for Sexual Health (aptFSH) is a registered non-profit, non-governmental organization in Ghana. It is founded and incorporated on 17th June, 2016 with registration number CGO34422016. Apt foundation is a community-based health development oriented organization made of dedicated and experienced volunteers with many years of experience. The foundation aims at promoting and educating individuals, couples and organizations on sex and sexual health as well as offering diverse treatment options pertaining to sexual health and sexual related issues to individuals as well as the public.
The apt Foundation is focused on championing the course of sexual health by addressing the core issues including male and female sexual dysfunctions and disorders, sexually transmitted infections including HIV and AIDS and other sexual and reproductive health related issues.
Our Vision
To create a society where
- Everyone has the right to feel confident, assertive, and safe to express their sexuality
- People respect the sexuality of others and remove the barriers to access sexual health services
- Stigma and discrimination related to sex and sexual health issues is challenged
- Everyone enjoys better healthy sexual life at all times without any hindrance

To promote and support sexual health without judgment.

- That being listened to in confidence and accepted without prejudice can alleviate feelings of shame, blame and isolation

Our Staff Status
The foundation has 42 volunteers with background from the academia, health, religion and civil society, information technology. These dedicated and knowledgeable staff have many years of experience in the areas of sexual health, development and implementation of interventions, and they consist of doctors, pharmacist, nurses, clinical psychologist, social scientist, religious leaders and seasoned counsellors.
